Johnson Family Cemetery (Presumed)
Description: Ga. Hwy. 18, at Walnut Creek
Location: From the railroad intersection in Gray, travel south on U.S. Hwy. 129 to the intersection of Ga. Hwy. 18 west, turn right and travel 3.2 miles to the Walnut Creek Bridge. As you cross the bridge the cemetery is located on the right side of the highway, on a hill, under large oaks. The cemetery walls which were brick and granite were disassembled for safety after they had become in ill repair. There are no marked graves although the cemetery is located directly in front of the old Johnson plantation home. Cemetery is currently located on the property of the Gatins Family.
