SPARTA -- Mr. Frank E. Harper, 59, of 662 Fort Creek Road, Sparta, died March 17, 2010, at a local hospital.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Paulette Harper of Shreveport, La.; five daughters, Lamesha Yelverton of Brooklyn, N.Y., Yolanda Harper, Nicole (William) Mays and Ashley (Bobby Ray) Johnson of Shreveport, La., Veronica Harper of Columbia, Tenn.; stepchildren, Anthony Armstead of New York and Sherrel Yelverton of New York; special friend, Eva M. Ransom; sisters, Elnora Harper of Wilmington, Del., Lucy Warren and Daisy Mosley of Chester, Pa., Mae Julia (Ulysses) Lundy of Sparta, Mary Harper of Milledgeville, Buerina Lampley of New York; brothers, Willie Lee Harper of New York, Lovick (Dorothy) Harper, Joseph (Rosa) Harper and Roosevelt Harper of Sparta, Jesse Harper (Kathy) of Milledgeville; and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010, at Hunts Chapel AME Church in Sparta with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Johnny L. Sanders will officiate.
